Espn has just released the television schedule for the 2009 WSOP. The news is heating up the forums because of the omission of any mixed game events which includes the prestigious HORSE tournament. Again, the poker world has been slapped in the face and chasing the general public's viewership is most important. Also, it seems that ESPN has determined that the public they are pandering to is not smart enough to understand the games other than NLHE.
As already expected, the final table will take place in November which did increase their ratings. While the Hag does think the poker community has accepted the November schedule and does want the network to have a successful show, the lack of some of the favorite events, does sting.
Perhaps ESPN could have some kind of PPV or other venue available during while the events are taking place so that we could all enjoy this whole experience in the best possible way.

Also this year, the final table will be on November 7, when it gets to heads-up, they'll return at midnight on Nov. 10 to finish the tournament, so those hoping to avoid spoilers will have the entire weekend to attempt to avoid spoilers.
